92% of UNIF graduates remain in Haiti after completing their studies. Because salaried jobs are rare in rural areas, students are trained to become entrepreneurs and job creators. Graduates work as agronomists, veterinarians, farm and business owners, crop consultants, veterinary clinic operators, and bank employees. Some continue their education by pursuing advanced degrees.

Students live with family members, rent rooms with community members, or, for about 50 women, stay in a temporary dormitory on campus. Construction began in September 2025 on a permanent dormitory for 150 female students.
