Sister Kathy is a member of the Sisters of Loretto, one of the early believers and investors in Fonkoze, Haiti’s largest and most successful microfinance institutions.
Sister Kathy was at one time the Treasurer of the Sisters of Loretto.
Sister Kathy lived in Port-au-Prince for two years when working for one of Fonkoze’s partners, Hospice St Joseph. She has also worked closely with the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Antoine of Fondwa and brought other Sisters of Loretto with her to Fondwa, where she has stayed for a month or more at a time.
Sister Kathy also worked with Father Joseph on the Hilton Foundation grant and has participated in several of the annual Spiritual Retreats organized by Father Joseph and the Father Joseph Network (FJN).
Sister Kathy has the endorsement of her community to accept this position. She brings over 40+ years of experience in accounting, including public accounting, to uFondwa USA.
